These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clair Lab website (clairlab.ca) and any purchases made through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this website.

1. Research Use Only

All products sold by Clair Lab are supplied strictly for laboratory and scientific research purposes only. They are not approved by Health Canada or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use. By purchasing, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or licensed professional.
• You will use the products exclusively for legitimate laboratory research.
• You will not use, administer, or distribute these products for human or animal consumption.
• You will not resell these products for human use.

Clair Lab reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where there is reasonable suspicion of non-research intent.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By completing a purchase, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Clair Lab reserves the right to request verification of age at any time.

3. Orders and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Clair Lab accepts payment via Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency. Payment must be received and confirmed before your order is processed and shipped. Orders are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed. Clair Lab reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

4. Shipping

Clair Lab ships from Ontario, Canada via Canada Post Xpresspost. Delivery estimates are 1–2 business days for most Canadian addresses. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Clair Lab is not responsible for delays caused by Canada Post or other factors outside our control. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handoff to the carrier. Free shipping is available on orders over $150 CAD.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of research compounds and for safety and integrity reasons, Clair Lab does not accept returns of opened or used products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at the email address on our contact page and we will work to resolve the issue. Refunds, where applicable, are issued at Clair Lab’s discretion.

6. No Medical or Legal Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes medical, legal, or professional advice. All scientific information is provided for educational and research context only. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, product descriptions, and branding, is the property of Clair Lab and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clair Lab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or any products purchased from it. This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from misuse of research compounds.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to Terms

Clair Lab reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
